Alphabet Play: Letter J

This month we looked at the letter “J” for Alphabet Play. We talked all about words that begin with J and found out that many of our names begin with J. We also found out that “jump” begins with J so we played a fun little jumping game where we pretended we were different animals that jump. Our “J” craft consisted of a “jeweled J.” With some help from the mamas, the children drew a J on their paper and then spread white glue within that J. Once done, they put glitter all over it and decorated their paper with jagged lines and jewel stickers. It sure was a messy, but fun craft!
