This week we had a great time with Kool-Aid Ice Painting! The kids loved getting messy with delicious smelling ice cubes and making their own unique art projects. It was a super easy summer activity and a great way to cool off on a hot day!
Supplies:
- Kool-Aid
- Water
- Ice Cube Trays
- Card Stock
Instructions:
This one is pretty self explanatory but there were a couple of things that helped make some colours brighter than others. Dissolve the Kool-Aid into approximately 500ml of water, use the whole packet of Kool-Aid so that the colour is saturated when it melts on the paper. It does stain your hands a little bit but we hosted our event at a spray park so that we could rinse off in the water.
Next week at Toddler Time we'll be letting the kids get messy with GOOP Sensory Bins! Sign up here - http://edmonton.momstown.ca/node/17161
