Where To Watch Canada Day Fireworks in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Spruce Grove

We've got a great list of fireworks shows that are sure to light up the sky this Canada Day in Edmonton and the surrounding areas! Check out this blog to discover all the Canada Day long weekend events for families!

Mill Woods 

Time: 11PM
After a fun filled day celebrating Canada, enjoy a fantastic fireworks display in Mill Woods Park (23rd Ave & 66th St). 


River Valley 
Time: 11pm
Enjoy the magnificent fireworks display over Edmonton’s river valley parks and the North Saskatchewan River.


Good viewing locations:

  • Telus Field is offering a reduced admission price of $4 per person after the 8th inning of the Edmonton Prospects vs. the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets game for those who wish to view the fireworks. Food concessions will be open until 10:30pm.
  • Alberta Legislature Grounds
  • Victoria Park (River Valley Road)
  • Ezio Faraone Park (west entrance to High Level Bridge on 109 St. north)
  • Dantzer’s Hill (below Queen Elizabeth Park)
  • Government House Park (Groat Road & River Valley Road)
  • Note: No viewing is available from Kinsmen Park.
Viewing areas accessible on foot only (closed to vehicles):
  • River Valley Road
  • Walterdale Hill Road & Queen Elizabeth Park Road
  • 109 St. (between Saskatchewan Drive & the High Level Bridge)
  • Access is restricted in Kinsmen Park, Walterdale Hill, High Level & Menzies Bridges after road closure times. Kinsmen playground and picnic area are closed on Canada Day.

Sherwood Park  
Time: 11pm
A spectacular pyro technical display choreographed to Canadian music set over Broadmoor Lake completes the Canada Day celebration.

Leduc 
Time: 11pm
Enjoy an evening watching 54-40 and Glass Tiger starting at 4pm at Wm. F. Lede Park followed by a Canada Day fireworks show!


Beaumont
Time:11pm


St. Albert
Time: 11pm
After a fun filled afternoon in St. Albert's busiest park join the community for fireworks at Seven Hills at 11:00 pm.

Spruce Grove
Time: 11pm
The city of Spruce Grove has organized so much fun for the whole family followed by music from Harlequin and a fantastic fireworks show in Jubilee Park.
